NOBODY
File Sharing Without Email
Email is the default identity check of the internet, and it is a strange one for handing over a single file. NOBODY skips it: no address from you, no address for the recipient, and no message sent on your behalf.
The code replaces the inbox
Instead of typing an address and hoping the mail arrives, you get an 8-character code the moment the upload finishes. The share exists at that code, and only at that code.
You can deliver it however you like: read it out, paste the link into an existing conversation, or show the QR poster for a phone to scan.
What this avoids
No verification mail, no marketing follow-ups, and no mailbox record tying the transfer to either person. Attachment size limits and mail-server rejections stop mattering too — NOBODY takes up to 300 MB per share.
Nothing is queued for delivery, so nothing can bounce, land in spam or sit unread in a filtered folder.
Keeping a code-based share tidy
Set an expiry so the share closes itself, and add a download limit when you know how many times the file should be fetched.
If the code should not travel alone, enable PIN protection and send the PIN through a different channel.
